I can't tell you the number of people over the years who have put my pots on their heads!
So, eventually, I decided to have a go at actually making hats. It took me quite a few goes to get them looking like hats and not just up-side-down pots! But in the end I got there and I just love them – particularly the ones made with wool

This was one of the first hats. Made from wool tops which had been dyed and carded.

Carding is a wonderful way to blend  colours.

This hat was made from Sari ribbon waste.

Last year Andrew Salmon asked me if I would like to take part in the fashion show which would be held in Birmingham at the Festival of quilts 2010.

Obviously I made hats!

This is  "Day Wear"

Again, made for the fashion show – this time "Evening Wear"
