My Quilts and Their Stories
 

This talk takes the form of a "Show and Tell". Starting with my first quilts, I'll show you how my work has developed over the years - punctuated by an anecdote or two!
Curry, Pots and Tartans
  In this talk, I'll bring to life my experience of exhibiting in the Sultan Gallery in Lancashire. I'll also look at my new passion - coil posts, as well as how to create tartans from 'Magic Dyeing'.
Dyeing In Plastic Bags
  Don't worry about the title! I'll demonstrate my technique - followed by a "Show and Tell" of some of my quilts.
Going Potty
 

Sometimes I think I have gone potty! Since I started making coil pots, I really have thought of little else. I'll show you how it's done - and lots of examples of finished pieces to inspire you. But beware - you might get addicted too!

All talks last approximately 45 minutes - plus time at the end for questions and a chance to take a close-up look at example quilts and pots.

Fee
£75 + travel (.30p per mile for return journey) + overnight accommodation, if required.
