It has been such a long time since I wrote anything for the web site and so much has happened during the last year I decided on this very snowy morning to take some action. Here goes...

Up and running again...
Firstly apologies to those of you who tried to find me at various shows last year. In May I had to have some emergency surgery which ended up putting me out of action for five months. I am glad to say I am up and running again - fitter than ever!

Teaming up with Linda de Ruiter
Exciting things have also been happening. One of the best being my teaming up with Linda de Ruiter. Linda is an enthusiastic knitwear designer, an astute business woman, a strong lady who is not afraid of hard work and she is really nice as well! She has been a tower of strength to me when I was feeling a little fragile and because of her I am now going forward, bringing out new products and writing a new book.

Linda's website: www.tallyarns.co.uk

New Book: Dye One, Knit One
Because of the on-going success of 'Dyeing in Plastic Bags' as a basic manual for first time dyers of cotton, I decided, along with Linda to do the same sort of thing - but this time for dyers of wool and silk. Linda has created some great projects using dyed yarn. The new book is called 'Dye One, Knit One' and should be out in a couple of months.

I've got some new interesting and exciting products available through the website and at shows and events.

All In One Dyes
Because of the book I have brought out a range of dyes to be used with wool and other protein fibres.

They are called 'All In One' dyes because that is exactly what they are. You don't need anything else except water and your fibre. Linda is also selling these dyes as a starter pack or in kits with wool and patterns. This naturally led on to another starter pack for Procion dyes which I am selling.

New Range of Coil Pot Cording
I've also got an exciting new cord for making coil baskets. It's softer than the original cord, which makes it ideal for bags and baskets alike. And - it's also cheaper!
